Weiler's Deli is the best place to eat around the At Home in the Valley store. Excellent food and service (better then World Famous Brent's in my Opinion) They also cater and deliver. Located at the South East corner of Nordhoff and Balboa in an Albertson's Supermarket parking lot Closer to Nordhoff. Gail is the Owner I have been eating their food for over 40 years ! (even when I am on my diet) Great Chicken Soup etc.

Fromins Deli is another very good Deli located on the North side of Ventura Blvd just east of White Oak, Excellent Service and Food at much lower prices then other Undeservedly famous Deli in the area. My Late Friend and Hero Coach John Wooden ate dinner here several nights a week for years, He lived to be 99+ Hal is the best waiter, has been there for years, puts up with everyone's special requests even if they are 85 years young.

Without someone really recommending it, looks like a dive but has the very best Chicken I have ever tasted! It's marinated overnight in secret citrus based ingredients grilled on a Barbacue grill without sauce. Ribs are old fashioned meaty Spare ribs made same way as the Chicken The thai food is good I'm not an expert but they will make you any thing you like if they have the ingredients . Take out or delivery,eat in if you like local flavor. Tell them Steve sent you!
